• All purpose flour (Maida) 1 cup + ¼ cup
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Granulated sugar ¼ cup
  • Light brown sugar ¼ cup
  • Unsalted butter 1 stick or ½ cup,soften to room temperature
  • Pinch of Salt,skip it if using salted butter
  • Vanilla extract ½ tsp
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • Chocolate chips ½ cup


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Line the baking tray with parchment paper or just spray with nonstick spray.
  3. In a bowl take dry ingredients like all purpose flour, salt and baking soda. Mix well and keep it aside.
  4. In another bowl take soften butter. Beat it with wire whisk or by electric blender till it becomes smooth and creamy.
  5. Now add granulated and brown sugar. Beat till it becomes light and fluffy.
  6. Then add milk and vanilla extract. Whisk till it gets incorporated.
  7. Mix well to combine dry and wet ingredients. Beat until incorporated.
  8. Add chocolate chips and fold them in. Refrigerate the cookie dough for about 30 minutes.
  9. Make 1 inch size balls from cookie dough and press them lightly. Place it on the cookie sheet few inches apart from each other.
  10. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes in preheated oven or until the edges of cookies become golden brown.
  11. Let the cookies rest into baking tray for another 5 minutes.Remove it to the cooling rack to cool completely.
  12. Eggless chocolate chips are ready.
